We are making progress. Our building modifications have been completed and subsequent inspections have been passed. We are still waiting to hear from the Senior Center of Jones County regarding the schedule to begin meal service.
The Filling Station has been approved by the Food Bank of North Carolina to become a distribution point. This will allow us to receive donations of food from the Food Bank and also to purchase food at a reduced per pound rate.
We also have a second tenant lined up for office space – more details to follow.
