Our mission is to assist with filling unmet needs in the areas of Nutrition, Education and Connection serving the residents of Jones County.
Hours of Operation - Nutrition and Education
Tuesday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)
Second Week of the Month - Commodity Supplement Food Program for Seniors
Friday - Closed
"Leave a Legacy" by purchasing a brick along the sidewalk leading to the front doors of The Filling Station
This sidewalk represents the many footsteps of volunteers, donors, clients, partners, pastors and elected officials.
During this special campaign, you have the opportunity to honor those who have made this mission possible.

Congratulations to Willie Smith as the winner of the Cow Pie Bingo this year! Although we canceled the event due to Tropical Storm IAN, we still continued to sell tickets to raise awareness and funds for the mission. On November 8th, we held a drawing for all the ticket numbers purchased. We sold 245 tickets and the winner received 10% of the PIE.

Coastal Women’s Shelter held their annual Prayer Vigil on Oct 27th in the newly renovated space. The music, sharing of stories, and learning more about how to advocate for victims of Domestic Violence. We celebrated our friend Lisa Moore who is retiring from CWS after 23 yrs. Thank you donors, partners, and volunteers for working so hard to provide a beautiful space for our partner education. Thank you New Bern Web Design, LLC for photography and website support.
