Mission
Our mission is to assist with filling unmet needs in the areas of Nutrition, Education and Connection serving the residents of Jones County.
Hours of Operation - Nutrition and Education
Tuesday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)
Second Week of the Month - Commodity Supplement Food Program for Seniors
Friday - Closed
"Leave a Legacy" by purchasing a brick along the sidewalk leading to the front doors of The Filling Station
This sidewalk represents the many footsteps of volunteers, donors, clients, partners, pastors and elected officials.
During this special campaign, you have the opportunity to honor those who have made this mission possible.

March 22, 2022 – Christi Mallasch from The Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC called The Filling Station and spoke with Mary Ann LeRay, Executive Director to extend an invitation to visit the Food Bank. The Duke Energy Foundation asked the Food Bank to choose one of their partner agencies to be part of a video highlighting how they served during the pandemic. With short notice and the need for insured drivers, Mary Ann LeRay and Joan Taylor headed out on Tuesday for Raleigh. Thursday, March 15, 2022 – Triune Holiness Church served food boxes from the Food Pantry. Thanks to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC and our church partners for making this possible. In addition, a local homeschool group volunteered to change our sign highlighting the Bridge Run which will be held on April 9th. Join the Filling Station Team HERE. This partnership keeps the mission running.

The Filling Station has been chosen as one of the 7 organizations to benefit.
