Our mission is to assist with filling unmet needs in the areas of Nutrition, Education and Connection serving the residents of Jones County.
Hours of Operation - Nutrition and Education
Tuesday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)
Second Week of the Month - Commodity Supplement Food Program for Seniors
Friday - Closed

The Community Foundation presented The Filling Station with a grant for $700 today. Charlie Jones, President of the Community Foundation, presented the check to the committee. Other Community Foundation Board Members present: Allen Bender, III, Vic Bryan, Chris Henderson, Joan Taylor, Gloria Wiggins, Michael Wilder and Elois Body. Read MoreExciting News! On Monday, August 28th, the Senior Nutrition site will be open at The Filling Station in Pollocksville and serving meals to those who have registered. The hours are from 9 am – 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Therese Gilmore and Sheila Ward will be in charge of facilitating the the activities and lunch.
