A Perfect 10 Night, and This Year It Could Be Yours
Last year Mayor Jay Bender won the Perfect 10 Dinner. He could have invited anyone. He invited the volunteers with the most hours on the books.
"I really never expected to win the Perfect 10 Dinner, and very quickly, EVERYONE wanted to be my friend and join me for the meal. But the Filling Station thrives on its volunteers, and I felt it appropriate to ask the FS volunteers with the most hours to join me. It was an excellent event, a delicious meal beautifully prepared and presented, and the evening provided an opportunity for all to fellowship in a relaxed atmosphere."

This year's grand prize is a grilled ribeye and shrimp skewers dinner for ten, prepared and served by the Filling Station Board of Directors. Tickets are $10 each, or 5 for $40. The drawing is November 7, and you don't have to be there to win. Proceeds go straight into our Nutrition, Education, and Connection programs here in Jones County.
