It's been a month since Florence!

Filling Station receives 1st grant

The Community Foundation presented The Filling Station with a grant for $700 today. Charlie Jones, President of the Community Foundation, presented the check to the committee. Other Community Foundation Board Members present: Allen Bender, III, Vic Bryan, Chris Henderson, Joan Taylor, Gloria Wiggins, Michael Wilder and Elois Body. Senior Nutrition Opening this Monday, August 28th

Exciting News! On Monday, August 28th, the Senior Nutrition site will be open at The Filling Station in Pollocksville and serving meals to those who have registered. The hours are from 9 am – 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Therese Gilmore and Sheila Ward will be in charge of facilitating the the activities and lunch.
