Register for Camp Noah Camp Noah is a resiliency camp for children K-5 and is made possible through partnership with Lutheran Social Services of MN and YMCA New River, Jacksonville, NC. The YMCA staff will be running this camp on The Filling Station campus with the support of local volunteers. This camp is specially for children in Jones County who have gone through a disaster or trauma. Please visit: campnoah.org for more information and registration. The New Bern Amateur Radio Club (NBARC) hosted its first Winter Field Day at the Filling Station on January 28th, 2023. This field day event is held to give amateur radio operators (HAMS) all over the world a chance to test their radio equipment outdoors and under alternate power to simulate field use in case of emergency. Our weather was perfect by most standards for any time of year, but especially for the last weekend of January. We had a wonderful turnout from club members and interested folks from the community.
