Drawing on decades of watching blood sugar management through her husband's type 1 diabetes, she breaks down what actually happens when we eat, how insulin resistance develops over time, and why the order in which we eat our food matters more than most people realize. She and Mary Ann also take on one of the most common health myths going: that stress is the enemy. Their take is more nuanced and ultimately more hopeful, pointing toward simple, accessible practices like deep breathing and slow walks in nature as powerful tools for bringing the body back to balance.
