The Epiphany School wraps up 3 weeks of service at The Filling Station

15 High Seniors…350 Volunteer Hours…Spring Cleaning Projects What a wonderful gift to host a group of excited, focused, creative young people from May 9-26! We delivered two boxes of new orthopedic items and 80 cards to Brook Stone Living Facility, washed windows, painted the old loading dock, delivered cabinets and doors to Habitat for Humanity and distributed food boxes from the Food Pantry. These incredible young adults quickly adopted the mission statement of assisting in filling unmet needs to the residents of Jones County. Thank you again Epiphany for partnering and bringing “Love In Action” to The Filling Station.

August 2017, The Filling Station opened its doors to the community with the mission to assist with filling unmet needs in the areas of Nutrition, Education, and Connection. We have experienced many successes this past year. Due to the excellent leadership of our Board of Directors, Food Pantry Director, and a New Executive Director, we have been able to build momentum as we move into our 5th year. The Food Pantry has grown to over 800-1000 households serving over 10,000 individuals due to the increased demand due to the Pandemic. Plans are unfolding for the development of a Teaching Kitchen
