Mission
Our mission is to assist with filling unmet needs in the areas of Nutrition, Education and Connection serving the residents of Jones County.
Hours of Operation - Nutrition and Education
Tuesday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)
Lenoir Community College Computer Lab 9 AM - 1 PM
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday, 9AM until all Food Boxes are distributed (Drive-through service only)

Exciting News! On Monday, August 28th, the Senior Nutrition site will be open at The Filling Station in Pollocksville and serving meals to those who have registered. The hours are from 9 am – 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Therese Gilmore and Sheila Ward will be in charge of facilitating the the activities and lunch. For more information, please contact the Jones County Senior Center at 252-448-1001.
We are making progress. Our building modifications have been completed and subsequent inspections have been passed. We are still waiting to hear from the Senior Center of Jones County regarding the schedule to begin meal service. The Filling Station has been approved by the Food Bank of North Carolina to become a distribution point. This will allow us to receive donations of food from the Food Bank and also to purchase food at a reduced per pound rate. We also have a second tenant lined up for office space – more details to follow.
