The high school Seniors of The Epiphany School of Global Studies began their 3 week Love in Action service on Monday, May 9, 2022 Projects include: assisting with the Teaching Kitchen renovation project, processing food pantry donations, cleaning and organizing the facility, digging a trench for drainage, and raising new flags on the flagpole on the front campus. Thank you to International Paper’s New Bern Mill for donating $500 to The Filling Station front lawn beautification and access project. Spring and Summer are here. Volunteers are ready to dig in the dirt and create a beautiful landscape around the building. “We welcome this beautiful gift of $500 and continued partnership with International Paper”, says Mary Ann LeRay, Executive Director.

Thank you to all the businesses and individuals who are stepping up and out to support the Bridge Run event which provides key funding for 7 not for profit organizations. The Filling Station has been chosen as one of the 7 organizations to benefit.
